Curiosity for the world

The off-season ride of Paul Seixas, one of the most promising young cyclists of his generation, was nothing short of legendary. Last October, the new prince of the cycling world, uploaded a Strava ride that left the cycling world stunned: 12 hours of intense riding along the border of the Swiss and French Alps. Starting at 3:00 AM in the freezing darkness, he tackled the iconic Grand Saint-Bernard pass—a grueling 33 km climb averaging 5.4% with over 2,400 meters of elevation gain. It was a raw display of world-class talent, relentless capacity, and the rare ability to thrive through pain.

But you don’t have to be a professional to take inspiration from a ride like that. The off-season is the perfect time to set bold goals, try new methods, and find out what your mind and body are truly capable of.

Maybe the journey toward a 400-watt FTP is the goal itself. Make every day count, conquer new mountain passes, and push your physical and mental boundaries. In the end, pursuing your curiosity won’t just make you stronger—it will make you rich in ways money never can.

DO that ride!
